Effective Immediately:
to help limit the spread of COVID-19, the Fire Department and Code Enforcement Administration Offices will be closed to the public until further notice. All fire and emergency service units will continue to operate as usual and uninterrupted.

If you are experiencing any mild flu or cold like symptoms, please contact your primary health care provider for guidance. For any fire or medical emergency related issue please dial 9-1-1.

If you have any non-emergency questions or concerns please email us at: admin@calcityfire.us or call 760-373-4841 (option for “Fire Administration”, during the hours of 8am to 5pm only please. All phone and email messages will be addressed as soon as possible, please be patient and allow up to 24-48 hours for a response due to current staffing levels.

All Code Enforcement citations and collections are being suspended until our offices are reopened to the public. If you have Code Enforcement related questions please email: CE@calcityfire.us or call 760-373-4841 (option for code enforcement). Please continue monitor our facebook feed and website for updates on COVID-19. We will post updates as they become available.

All California City related activities, sponsored events and gatherings are suspended until further notice (this includes the Senior Center, the Strata Center, the Arts and Community Center, and all gatherings or meetings at City Hall).

·The upcoming scheduled circus show has been cancelled.

·We recommend that private entities limit their gatherings and take social isolation precautions.

·The Central Park outdoor area will remain open per regular business hours and staff will continue to work with precautionary measure until further notice.

The senior citizens meals and food bank will still be available for pick up outside and directly from the delivery trucks. In addition, the “Meals on Wheels” program will still be delivering as normal, if not more.
