The CCFD is now an ISO class 3!

Update: ISO Letter is now available for download!

The California City Fire Department is pleased to announce that we just received notification from ISO (Insurance Services Office) that the City Fire Department's classification has been lowered. ISO classifies Fire Department's across the nation on their ability to protect the community they serve. This process uses national accepted models and standards in their rating. Classes range from 1 to 10; with 1 being the best.

We join only 2,410 other Fire Departments that have this rating.

This lowering of our classification will have a direct effect on fire insurance rates paid by residents and reflects the improved service being provided. This achievement could only have been done with the support from our community and hard work of all Fire Department employees.

You can download the attached file below which confirms the new ISO class 3 rating. You may present this to your insurance provider for a possible reduction in rates. You can also download the letter from this link.
